Triops Educational Experiment Kit - hatch your own baby Triops!
Triops are Crustaceans that are known from fossil records to have existed up to 300,000,000 years ago.
With this educational experiment kit you can successfully hatch Triops eggs, and continue the breeding process if you wish. The Triops eggs come exclusively from controlled and sustainable laboratory breeding and are not taken from the wild.
Includes feed and complete facilities for rearing and observation – so you can be close to the action when the small crustaceans hatch. In only a few days, they will hatch, change their armour, dart through the water and eventually burrow in the sand and lay their own eggs!
Average lifespan of the Triops is 2 months.

Important: You will need to provide bottles of still mineral or distilled water, a heat lamp/standard lamp or clip lamp with 60
Watt bulb or mains voltage halogen lamp (GU10 cap), and a timer switch (light will need to be provided for at least 12-16hrs). Other household items and food may be required should you wish to breed the Triops.
