BugLand™ with LIVE Ladybird Larvae!

Raise and release your very own ladybirds with this fun, reusable, and colourful BugLand island habitat.

With a built-in magnifying lid you can observe the larvae up close while they explore the island and drink from the ‘volcano’. Watch as they transform from small larvae to adult ladybirds in approximately 4 weeks (may be less in warmer weather), before releasing every gardener's favourite beneficial insect into nature! 

A fascinating project for children and adults alike, and a fun introduction to the world of entomology!

The ladybirds can be a mix of black with red spots and red with black spots and should be released within 24hrs unless an abundant supply of aphids can be sourced to feed them.

Q&A

I’m not going to be home until the day after the delivery date, does this matter?
Hello, Ideally we would advise you being present on the delivery day, to make sure the parcel is not left outside overnight and the ladybirds can be transferred to their habitat as soon as possible.
Are these UK native can they be released into the garden
Hello, Yes, they are and can be safely released anywhere in the UK!
I’m looking to buy for child’s birthday near end of July, can this be purchased at anytime and stored or is it best waiting to nearer the time for the larve?
Hello Cheryl, If it is for a Birthday we would suggest purchasing the kit with a voucher. This can then be redeemed by the recipient when they are ready for the ladybirds! This can be bought and stored as there would be no live ladybirds inside!

Hello, Ladybirds can be grown between March and mi-September!
