Deluxe Feeding Kit.

Everything that you need to feed your butterflies is in this kit!

Includes:

  • Chrys-A-Lid™ Holding Log
  • Flower shaped butterfly feeder (colour may vary)
  • Butterfly measuring spoon
  • Sugar packet
  • Butterfly pipette

Chrys-A-Lid™ Holding Log: When your chrysalides are ready to be transferred to the habitat, insert the lid of the cup in the slot and place on the bottom of the habitat, then once the butterflies have all emerged, simply wash and store for next time!

Butterfly Feeder: It may look strange, but once liquid is added it expands into a sponge!

When your butterflies emerge, use the sugar sachet and measuring spoon to make up some nectar, then saturate the sponge with this using the included butterfly pipette.

"As a childminder setting our children absolutely love watching and talking about the caterpillars turn into butterflies! This is a brilliant experience for our little ones to learn about lifecycles, caring for animals and giving them the responsibilities of feeding the butterflies before we release them. The only suggestion I would give is sending a spare lid in the refill pack as we had one caterpillar who really was slow growing about a week apart from the rest. We have brought previously and definitely purchasing again in the next month as all our children loved it!"
