"Such an interesting experience watching the tiny caterpillars grow and then the process they go through to emerge into beautiful butterflies. My butterflies sat on my hand until they flew away.. I still see one occasionally in my garden. Thank you for the experience"
"These are nice additions to keeping caterpillars and then the butterflies. Got them in the sale too so really pleased. Already put away for next year."
"The stand is so much easier than the cardboard ones that come free & the feeding station is so much easier than cottonwool or tissue as sometimes the butterflies legs can get caught ,, for the price & easiness it's well worth buying."
"It was lovely to watch all caterpillars growing, amazing experience even fot adults Set perfect enough food for our butterflies 🦋 easy to use We would love to have more some time"
"This is a very useful kit to have. The chrysalides hang easily and the feeding station is very helpful. Both are easy to set up and use."
"The caterpillar to butterfly cycle has been a wonderful experience for all our family from our 4 year old to our great great Grandparents and all in between. The butterfly feeding equipment and our butterfly house was a great investment as we have used it several years now the quality is great. A great teaching experience and we are sure we are seeing butterflies returning to our gardens across the family where we release xxx Thank you for offering up this opportunity."
"We absolutely love having metamorphosis occur in our home. I get quite attached to the individual caterpillars and their behaviour and how some characteristics seem to carry over through the metamorphosis into butterflies. Releasing the butterflies is an uplifting unique experience. My family will continue to hatch butterflies with insect lore from now on."
"Very useful"
"The feeding kit is very good. All you need to keep the caterpillars happy and when they emerge to butterflies something to feed them 🦋"
"As a childminder setting our children absolutely love watching and talking about the caterpillars turn into butterflies! This is a brilliant experience for our little ones to learn about lifecycles, caring for animals and giving them the responsibilities of feeding the butterflies before we release them. The only suggestion I would give is sending a spare lid in the refill pack as we had one caterpillar who really was slow growing about a week apart from the rest. We have brought previously and definitely purchasing again in the next month as all our children loved it!"
