Notre Jardin des Papillons Édition Maison est un habitat spécial à quatre côtés avec une façade transparente Ultra-Clear™. Un panneau pédagogique dépliant présente également des informations intéressantes sur chaque étape du processus de métamorphose.

Choisissez de recevoir le kit soit avec un bon d'achat, vous permettant ainsi, à vous ou au destinataire, de commencer à élever des papillons dès que vous êtes prêt, soit avec des chenilles vivantes immédiatement (en sélectionnant une date d'envoi). Les chenilles sont disponibles de mars à mi-septembre uniquement.

Ce kit éducatif offre aux enfants, aux étudiants et aux familles une occasion inoubliable d'observer les chenilles se transformer en chrysalides, puis émerger en magnifiques papillons Belle-Dame. Élevez et nourrissez vos propres papillons, puis relâchez-les dans la nature ! La transformation complète de la chenille en papillon adulte prend environ trois à cinq semaines.

Voyez une transformation incroyable

3 à 5 chenilles et leur nourriture (une culture de papillons vivants) arriveront dans un gobelet en plastique transparent contenant tous les nutriments nécessaires. Placez le gobelet dans un endroit sûr, à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil. Les chenilles y resteront et mangeront, fileront de la soie et grandiront jusqu'à dix fois leur taille initiale ! Au bout de sept à dix jours, elles seront suspendues la tête en bas et durciront en chrysalides (aussi appelées pupes).

Élevez vos propres papillons

Une fois les chrysalides durcies, déplacez-les délicatement vers leur habitat à l'aide du couvercle Chrys-A-Lid™. Il leur faudra environ sept à dix jours supplémentaires pour se transformer en papillons adultes.

L'habitat du Jardin des Papillons est réutilisable et idéal pour observer les papillons de près ! Lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé, il se replie pour un rangement facile. Pour élever d'autres papillons, commandez simplement une recharge de Chenilles ici .

Fantastic experience

"My 5 and 3 year old and myself all loved the whole experience. It was amazing seeing how fast the caterpillars grew. The chrysalis process was fascinating. We even managed to see four of our five butterflies coming out of their chrysalides right before our eyes (one popped out earlier than the rest while we were out!) which was just amazing. The clear window on the butterfly net made it so much easier to see the tiny details. Really recommend the whole thing!"

Beautiful experience

"I received 5 caterpillars and they were so tiny at first and barely moved. We were worried they might die but I’m happy to say all five became active within a couple days.
